Defocus Dei adds realistic effects on images computed with 3DS Max, Lightwave, Maya, Cinema 4D, Vue Esprit or any software which exports RLA/RPF files or its Z-Buffer as an image file.

You can add depth of field to your images, modify hue depending on depth, and add fog using an atmospheric perspective filter. All effects are computed quickly.

With the included viewer, you define the area where the effect should be applied. For example, the depth of field tool allows you to select the focus point and the degree of blur before and after the defined area. You accurately control where to apply the depth of field. You can then select the diaphragm shape or animate the focus point to make a smooth depth of field transition.

Defocus Dei includes a powerful depth of field algorithm - you won't find anywhere else! - It dramatically simulates real lens depth of field effects.
